At Uplift College Advising, we believe that real change happens when caring individuals come together to uplift others. As a nonprofit organization serving immigrant, first-generation, second-generation, and adult learners, we invite you to share your time, skills, and heart to help open new doors for our students.

Your expertise can be the key that unlocks a brighter future for someone who needs support to pursue their dreams.

Ways You Can Help Open Doors

We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds to contribute in meaningful ways, including:

  • Tutoring & Mentoring – Support learners with ESL, GED preparation, or college and career guidance
  • Technology Assistance – Help students access and navigate virtual learning tools
  • Marketing & Social Media – Assist with outreach, graphics, content creation, or engagement strategies
  • Fundraising & Development – Identify grants, assist with donor campaigns, or plan fundraising events
  • Administrative Support – Help with data entry, email communication, or volunteer coordination
  • Workshop Facilitation – Lead virtual sessions on college prep, financial literacy, or life skills
